What We Do

Our Services

Independent acoustic measurement and reporting services for apartment buyers at every stage of the purchasing process.

Pre-Handover Acoustic Inspection

The most important moment to verify acoustic quality is before you sign the deed. Once you've signed, your legal position for demanding remediation becomes significantly more complex.

We enter the building with a calibrated Class 1 sound level meter and a standardized sound source. We measure airborne sound insulation (DnT,w) between your unit and adjacent units, and impact sound insulation (L'nT,w) from the unit above. All measurements follow ISO 16283 methodology.

  • Airborne sound insulation (DnT,w) measurement
  • Impact sound insulation (L'nT,w) measurement
  • NCh 352 compliance comparison
  • Written report with pass/fail conclusions
  • Equipment calibration certificate reference
  • Practical interpretation of results

Co-Investment Group Verification

When a group of investors is acquiring multiple units in the same building, a coordinated inspection is more efficient and provides comprehensive coverage across the building's acoustic performance.

We plan the inspection to cover all relevant unit pairs in a single visit, produce a consolidated report for the group, and provide documentation structured for potential use in formal communications with the developer.

  • Coordinated multi-unit inspection in one visit
  • All relevant unit pairs measured
  • Consolidated group report
  • Per-unit and summary findings
  • Documentation suitable for developer communication

Post-Occupancy Acoustic Assessment

If you've already taken possession of your apartment and are experiencing noise issues that suggest the building may not meet NCh 352 requirements, we can perform a formal measurement to document the actual acoustic performance.

The resulting report provides an objective, technical basis for any formal claim or legal process. We document what we measure; we do not provide legal advice.

  • Formal measurement under ISO 16283
  • NCh 352 non-conformance documentation
  • Report suitable for administrative or legal use
  • Calibrated equipment with certification reference

Technical Consultation

Before committing to a purchase — particularly in buildings still under construction — we can review available documentation to provide an informed preliminary assessment of expected acoustic performance.

This service does not replace physical measurement but can help you understand the acoustic implications of the building's declared construction system before you commit.

  • Review of construction specifications and materials
  • Assessment of declared wall and floor systems
  • Preliminary written opinion
  • Identification of potential acoustic risk areas
